Lighting isn’t just about keeping your corals alive — it’s what brings out their vibrant colors and unique personalities. The right spectrum and intensity can make the difference between a dull tank and a glowing masterpiece.
光照不僅是讓珊瑚維持生存,更是決定牠們色彩與個性的關鍵因素。正確的光譜與光強,能讓魚缸從平凡變得耀眼動人。
1. The Role of Spectrum|光譜的重要性
Corals depend on the blue range of light (400–500 nm) for photosynthesis through their symbiotic algae, zooxanthellae. Blue and violet wavelengths penetrate water best and enhance coral fluorescence — those neon blues, pinks, and greens we all love.
珊瑚的共生藻類主要吸收400–500奈米之間的藍光波段進行光合作用。藍光與紫光能最有效穿透水體,並刺激珊瑚產生螢光,使牠們呈現出迷人的藍色、粉色與綠色。
2. Light Intensity and PAR|光照強度與PAR
PAR (Photosynthetically Active Radiation) measures how much usable light reaches your corals. SPS corals thrive under high PAR (250–400 μmol/m²/s), LPS prefer moderate PAR (100–200), and soft corals often do well under low to moderate PAR (50–150).

3. Photoperiod and Stability|光照時間與穩定性
Most reef tanks mimic a 10–12 hour photoperiod, with gradual sunrise and sunset effects to reduce stress. Consistency is key — frequent changes in light schedule or intensity can cause coral color loss or slow growth.
多數珊瑚缸會模擬每日10–12小時的光照週期,並利用漸亮漸暗效果降低壓力。光照的穩定性非常重要,若頻繁改變亮度或時間,可能導致退色或生長停滯。
4. Understanding Color Shifts|理解顏色變化
Coloration depends on both light spectrum and nutrient balance.
Too much light can cause bleaching — the coral expels its zooxanthellae.
Too little light leads to dull, brownish tones.
Excess nutrients (nitrate/phosphate) may darken colors, while ultra-clean water can wash them out.
珊瑚顏色的變化同時受到光譜與營養鹽平衡影響:
光太強會造成白化,因為珊瑚會排出共生藻。
光太弱則使顏色變得黯淡或偏棕。
營養鹽過高(硝酸鹽、磷酸鹽)會讓顏色加深,而過度乾淨的水質則可能讓顏色變淡。
5. Choosing the Right Lighting System|選擇合適的燈具
Modern reef keepers often prefer LED systems for flexibility and efficiency. Hybrid setups (LED + T5) can create more even coverage. Regardless of brand, what matters most is even distribution, correct spectrum, and stability.
現代玩家普遍選擇LED燈,因為可靈活調整光譜與亮度,且節能穩定。混合系統(LED+T5)則能提供更平均的照明。無論品牌為何,最重要的是光線分布均勻、光譜正確、亮度穩定。
